Spend the afternoon strolling the grounds listening to live local bluegrass by Turpentine Shine. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts served throughout the event by Savory St. Catering while sipping on beer, wine or mint juleps and watching the big race live!

No Running of the Roses would be complete without a little betting! Here's how it will work at our event (not at the track!):

1) Purchase as many 50/50 raffle tickets as you like! One ticket = one chance to win.
2) Place your tickets in the container which identifies the horse you are betting will win.
3) We will draw a winning ticket from the entries in the container of the winning horse of the main race.
4) The winner will split the total proceeds of the raffle with the historic Weir-Jordan House.

Please note, you must be present to win. 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold on the day of the event, cash, check or cards.

 

All 50/50 Raffle tickets purchased online ahead of the event will be handed to you at check-in for you to place in the container of your choice.
