About the Event

Break out your hats and bowties and dress to impress! Please join us at the 2nd Annual Derby Day Soiree to benefit the beautiful and historic Weir-Jordan House.

Spend the afternoon strolling the grounds listening to live local bluegrass by Turpentine Shine. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts served throughout the event by Savory St. Catering while sipping on beer, wine or mint juleps and watching the big race live! We will have fun contests for best dressed, so come ready to win!

Stay tuned as we raise the stakes by offering a new game called the "Winner's Circle" where you can take a chance to win extraordinary prizes!

No running of the roses would be complete without a little betting! Here's how it will work at our event (not at the track!):

1) Purchase as many 50/50 raffle tickets as you like! One ticket = one chance to win.

    Time to place your bets! The winner will split the pot with the historic Weir-Jordan House! Each individual ticket equals once chance, so the more you purchase, the more chances you have to win. Raffle tickets purchased online will be distributed at the event check in.

  • Tax Deductible Contribution

    Please note that we are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and all tax deductible contributions will directly benefit the maintenance and upkeep of the historic Weir-Jordan House. In addition, if you are interested in becoming a corporate sponsor for this event, we have 4 sponsorship level opportunities that start at $200.
