Derby Day Soiree

Break out your hats and bowties and dress to impress! Please join us at the 2nd Annual Derby Day Soiree to benefit the beautiful and historic Weir-Jordan House.  

Spend the afternoon strolling the grounds listening to live local bluegrass by The Jahnks. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and desserts served throughout the event by Savory St. Catering while sipping on beer, wine or mint juleps and watching the big race live! We will have fun contests for best dressed, best hat, and more, so come ready to win!

No running of the roses would be complete without a little betting! Here's how it will work at our event (not at the track!):

1) Purchase as many 50/50 raffle tickets as you like! One ticket = one chance to win.

2) Place your tickets in the container which identifies the horse you are betting will win. 

2) We will draw a winning ticket from the entries in the container of the winning horse of the main race.

3) The winner will split the total proceeds of the raffle with the historic Weir-Jordan House.

Please note, you must be present to win. 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold on the day of the event, cash or check only. 

All 50/50 Raffle tickets will be handed to you at check-in for you to place in the container of your choice.
